Jessica and Luke were married last Saturday in Farmington, Missouri. They had a very classy vintage feel to their decor and the photo booth was no exception. The pictures on this framed wall are of Jessica and Luke’s ancestors on their wedding day.
As far as I can tell miss Sasha Souza is the first person to execute a frame wall with pictures of the bride and groom’s wedding. So hats off to the creator of the idea.
KDHX did it again this year and threw another great party. Midwest Mayhem 2012 was a blast! Click here for a link to the entire gallery. Here are a few of our favorite Photomaton photos of the night…
The inspiration for this set was sparked by this year’s poster by Anti-Agency.
The guy in the poster is the likeness of the one and only St. Louis great Bob Cassily. R.I.P.
The rest of the photos from this event can be viewed here. Thanks to everyone that came out to celebrate Space Invaders style at the Luminary. Drinks were provided by Urban Chestnut, Schlafly, and Foam. Be sure to check out the Luminary’s Kickstarter project to send them your support.

I met Melanie for coffee earlier this summer to talk about what she might possibly want us to create for her custom set. We discussed many different possibilities, and at some point she mentioned the short-lived TV show, Pushing Daisies. Pushing Daisies was a visually stunning production that used a highly-saturated color palette. We mimicked this style with a brightly-colored field of “flowers” and a blue sky backdrop. The additional facial props (mustaches, glasses, lips, etc.) were provided by the wedding party.
This remarkable “paper moon” set was made by friends and relatives of the bride and groom. Sister of the bride, Maxine (pictured below), is responsible for all the detailed painting. Click HERE to view the rest of the pictures taken that evening.
Chadwell and Ria’s reception took place at the Skatium in South St. Louis, so later in the evening, the skates came out! For more on the wedding and the couple check out their wedding page.
In other news, Chadwell has his own film company called Tree 9 Films and we are currently working out a trade. We brought our fauxto-booth gear to their wedding and in exchange we’ll soon have a short film for our site illustrating how a fauxto-booth works. So look forward to seeing the video here soon!
The Giverny bridge made another appearance for the Young Friends Monet Fundraiser. This time the set was dressed up by the fine folks of Bloomin’ Buckets. They were kind enough to provide us with all the flora you see pictured, they also did some beautiful arrangements for the party. Be sure to check them out!

The idea for this set was pretty simple. There are 8 clouds on the wall and one big cloud up front that represented cloud number 9. To be on Cloud 9 means to be in a state of blissful happiness. This definitely describes Ashley and Waylon on their wedding day. Congrats to you both!

This booth was provided free for the public by the Saint Louis Art Museum in honor of the new Monet exhibition.
“For the first time in over 30 years, The Saint Louis Art Museum, The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and The Cleveland Museum of Art have collaborated to reunite the three panels of Agapanthus as the artist himself intended.” -SLAM (read more about the exhibition here)
Below were some inspiration images for the set provided by the kind folks of the St. Louis Art Museum.
